Welcome! Worshipful
Master Wayne Lodge #112
Garry M. Palucki Worshipful Master Thank you for visiting the web site for Wayne Masonic
Lodge #112 F&AM of Michigan. We are located in the City of Westland in the great State of Michigan. Wayne
Lodge was chartered on January 14, 1859 from the Grand Lodge of Michigan. We are very proud of our Lodge's heritage
and always have someting planned for the Brother as well as his family. We believe in making most events a family event
and we continually ask our members for input as to what activities they would like to do. If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to drop us a line. Brethren, as we travel together
on our Masonic journey it seems that I have found my way to an honored place in the East, the light that illuminated
my path was the brotherly love and friendship that all of you have personally shown me. By your lead
and example I have arrived educated with enough Masonic knowledge to carry out these important responsibilities.
I thank each and every one of you for electing me to the office of Worshipful Master of Wayne
Lodge, and I am excited to serve and represent you as such. Further, I look forward to guiding our lodge as Master, relying on the wise discretion and
counsel of our Past Masters and learned brothers, your moving officer line comprised of Wardens, Deacons
and Stewards are capable and ready to carry out the duties of their office. Your non moving officer line comprised
of a Chaplain, Treasurer, Marshal and Secretary will keep us on the level with the Great Architect,
stay fiscally healthy, marching square and organize our communications and events. We will all
work towards fulfilling the wishes of the lodge membership, while keeping Wayne Lodge active in various Masonic
labors and our local community events. Further,
as for your part, I will be asking the brethren that normally sit on the sidelines to take on a small role in
the ritual work from time to time; to that end newly raised brothers will be given small ritual
parts to learn by me or other lodge officers. For if we don’t all feel needed we will become unnecessary,
and will have no reason to attend lodge. I believe that every brother in our lodge is needed and
necessary, hence participation is key to our success and with an active general membership at weekly ritual
meetings and sponsored lodge events, we can maintain our high standing and elite guard status as a member of
the Michigan Masonic Community. Further
and lastly, I extend a renewed invitation to all inactive brethren to return to lodge and participate, travel
with us, and share your Masonic knowledge and experiences. Sincerely & Fraternally, Garry
M. Palucki WM
